2023 in numbers for eCAP

As 2023 is approaching the finish line, we reflect on the busy year for eCAP consortium. 2023 was dominated by the development of the first integrated eCAP1 capsule, the e-health application for reflux testing, as well as several preclinical studies. But not just that.

How was 2023 in numbers for eCAP project?
✔️ 1 new partner integrated to the consortium – RDS
✔️ 10 deliverables submitted, including characterization of eCAP sensors, electronics, mechanical design and battery by Tyndall, the Imagination Factory, Sentron, EnteraSense and Integer
✔️ 25+ regulatory document templates drafted, steered by Betthera and EnteraSense
✔️ 45 clinicians in Kenya trained on flexible endoscopy at OTPAK and IHU organised workshop and 3 presentations of the project in Ukraine by Olymed
✔️ 3 other EU projects introduced to the consortium for sharing best practices
✔️ 1 Ethics review successfully passed, and 1 periodic report compiled
